For safety reasons food companies must meet a high level of requirements. For machine manufacturers guidelines are clearly defined for the use of elastomers and plastics in this sector. These guidelines also apply for seals that can or will be in direct contact with food. Our wide range of products contains FDA compliant HNBR, EPDM, FKM, FFKM and Silicone compounds. Also, more and more materials are available that meet the European framework regulation EC 1935/2004, which applies to all food contact materials. If necessary we can provide a Declaration of Compliance (DoC).
